According to this, there is eight times more o mitragynine in the kratom shot. This study also mentions that this large amount of the alkaloid can lead to the addiction. Thus, FDA has not made it legal for use. Many of the suppliers do not give information about the ingredients of kratom shots. This is why the users suspect that the consumption of kratom shots is risky for them.
